What is Bridge?

Developed 10 years ago, Stanton's Summer Bridge program was created by Stanton students for Stanton students. The program provides incoming freshmen with a first look at their high school career, engaging them in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities specific to the Stanton experience.

How much does Bridge cost?

Bridge is FREE to all enrolled incoming freshmen, with two available sessions for you to register for. Each session repeats similar content to the other, allowing for flexibility in your summer plans. Your student is asked only attend one of the two offered sessions.

What should my child bring?

A sense of openness! Stanton is truly unlike any other high school experience, and we hope that your child is ready to make the most of their time in high school. With that, students should bring a packed lunch unless they choose not to purchase food at the school, especially if they have any sort of dietary restrictions. Students should bring water. Students should dress comfortably and appropriately for a variety of physical activity.

How long is Bridge?

Each session of Bridge this year will be 3 days long, with the gates opening at 8:00 AM and the day ending at around 2:00 PM - similar to school itself. Head over to the "Info" tab for more information on when and where to drop your students off.

Celebrating 10 Years!

This year marks Bridge's tenth anniversary! We are honored and thankful for all of our teachers, students, and incoming freshmen that have helped us keep this tradition going!

Is Bridge required to attend Stanton?

Absolutely not! Although it would be great to get acclimatized to the Stanton environment where your student will be for the next 4 years, attendance is not required. The program was founded as a precursor to the Stanton experience, so as to introduce incoming students to different ways to get involved in the Stanton community, learn study habits specific to our school, all while making lasting connections with classmates and upperclassmen alike. In short, your student is not required to attend Summer Bridge, but it is highly encouraged!
